Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Recast Workforce Technologies, Inc. ("Recast," "we," "us," or "our") operates the RecastCoach.ai platform and the website located at recastcoach.ai and recastcoach.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information submitted through the Site during our pre-launch waitlist period.

We have written this policy in plain language because the people who come to RecastCoach.ai are navigating a stressful moment in their lives. You deserve to understand exactly what we do with your information before you decide to share it.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site during the pre-launch period. It does not apply to:

  • Information you may submit to the live RecastCoach.ai coaching platform once it becomes available (a separate Privacy Policy will govern that)
  • Information collected by third-party websites linked from the Site
  • Information collected through any government workforce agency's separate intake or eligibility processes

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

When you submit a form on the Site, we collect:

  • Your first name
  • Your email address
  • Optional information you choose to provide, such as your field of work or state of residence
  • If you submit on behalf of a state workforce agency or organization: your agency or organization name, your role or title, your state, and your responses to the questions on the agency interest form

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, resume content, salary history, demographic information, or any sensitive personal information during the pre-launch period.

We do not collect telephone numbers and we do not send SMS or text messages during the pre-launch period.

What Your Submission Tells Us

By signing up for the individual waitlist, you are indicating interest in a platform designed for workers experiencing or anticipating career displacement. We treat this implied employment-status context as sensitive and limit how it is used and shared accordingly. We will never disclose to any third party that you are on the RecastCoach waitlist, except as specifically described in Section 6 below.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, basic technical information is collected automatically through Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including:

  • Pages viewed, time spent on pages, and basic interaction events
  • Approximate geographic location at the country or region level (IP addresses are anonymized before they reach Google)
  • Device type, browser type, and operating system
  • Referring website (the page you came from before visiting the Site)

We have configured Google Analytics 4 in its most privacy-protective mode: Google Signals is disabled, advertising features and Google Ads linking are disabled, IP addresses are anonymized, and data retention is set to the shortest available period (two months). We use this information solely to understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it. We do not use it for advertising and do not allow Google to use it for advertising purposes.

4. What We Do Not Do

Because we believe trust is earned by clarity, we want to state plainly what we do not do with your information:

  • ✕We do not sell your personal information to anyone
  • ✕We do not share your personal information with advertisers
  • ✕We do not use Meta Pixel, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, or any other advertising tracking technology on the Site
  • ✕We do not run retargeting or behavioral advertising campaigns based on your visit to the Site
  • ✕We do not use your information to train artificial intelligence models
  • ✕We do not send SMS or text messages to anyone during the pre-launch period

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes:

  • ✓To contact you by email about RecastCoach.ai, including beta access notifications, launch timing, special pre-launch pricing, and related platform announcements
  • ✓To contact state workforce agency and organization representatives about pilot opportunities, partnership discussions, and product development input
  • ✓To learn from agency feedback (in aggregate, non-identifying form) about the needs of state workforce systems and inform platform design
  • ✓To analyze Site traffic and improve the Site
  • ✓To comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

6. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as described below.

6.1 Service Providers

We share personal information with vendors that help us operate the Site and our pre-launch outreach. These currently include:

  • Tally.so — form intake platform that receives and stores your form submissions
  • Our website hosting provider
  • Google LLC — for Google Analytics 4 in the privacy-restricted configuration described in Section 3.2
  • Our email-sending service for confirmation and waitlist communications

These service providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to Recast and are required to protect your information consistent with this policy.

6.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to: (a) comply with a legal obligation, subpoena, or court order; (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of Recast, our users, or the public; or (c) enforce the Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy.

6.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any material change in how your information will be used.

7. Email Marketing and Your Consent

By submitting a form on the Site, you consent to receive email communications from Recast about the RecastCoach.ai platform, beta access, pricing, partnership opportunities, and related topics.

Every marketing email we send includes a clear unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing will stop further marketing emails but will not by itself delete your information from our records — to delete your information entirely, see Section 9. We comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act and applicable state anti-spam laws.

8. Data Retention

We retain the information you submit through the Site for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. During the pre-launch period and the first twelve (12) months following platform launch, we will retain waitlist information so we can notify you of beta access and pricing offers.

If you do not engage with our communications and have not signed up for the live platform within eighteen (18) months of submission, we will either delete your information or anonymize it. You may request earlier deletion at any time as described in Section 9.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 Rights Available to All Users

Regardless of where you live, you may:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email

To exercise any of these rights, email us at founder@recastcoach.ai using the subject line "Privacy" so we can route your message promptly. We will respond within 30 days.

9.2 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, including:

  • The right to know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it
  • The right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

As stated in Section 4, we do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email us at founder@recastcoach.ai with the subject line "Privacy" to exercise any California rights.

9.3 Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Other State Residents

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights similar to those described above. We honor all such rights. Email us at the address above to exercise your rights.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us at the address in Section 13.

11. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.

12. International Visitors

The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
